Petey
January 1st, 2001 - December 17th, 2008

When I first met Petey he had only just turn 2, still a little bundle of energy in a small little body. He was the first time I had seen a "Toto" (Cairn Terrier), though he was an off white and not a black one, for the first time in person. He was adorable and it was hard not to love him, he was insanely smart for a dog. With such a bright personality. At first he wanted nothing to do with me XD He was jealous of how much attention Anoka would give me, if we tied to cuddle around him he would squeeze between us and look at me with a O_o face. As if I would DARE try to take his Noka, of course that changed to following me everywhere, and laying on me like I was his personal pillow LOL

He became my pup after a time as well, a bond that was between Noka, Petey, and I. As the years passed, I knew that things would end eventually. I hated thinking it but I had had other pets that had passed away and Petey was growing in his years. The pass month he had gotten ill, something that involved a stomach virus that even the Vets could not tell what it was or how to fix it. After almost three weeks of not eating and taking the meds given, he did not get better or worse, not till he had been off the meds for a full 24 hours and he got worse. The Vet had told us what we knew was going to be said, that there was nothing else we could do. Anoka and I couldn't watch Petey getting worse, and we couldn't be selfish and think if we tried something else it would work when all signs said that it wouldn't. In the end the most painful decision we had to make, was taken. Petey gave me so many good memories and I will miss coming home, opening the door to him running over and doing his little hello bark/growl. 5 wonderful years that he gave to me, while giving 7 to Anoka who got to see him grow from a tiny pup to the little fattie he grew to be.

To my fat little sausage, I will always love you and will miss you dearly.
